Privacy Policy
Last updated June 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Bloovera (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use our platform as a merchant, and how we handle data on behalf of the merchants whose stores run on Bloovera.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — your name, email, password (hashed) and business details.
- Store data — products, orders, customers and content you add to your store.
- Payment data — handled by our integrated payment providers; we store limited records (amounts, status) but not full card numbers.
- Usage data — device, browser, IP address and how you interact with the dashboard, used to keep the service secure and improve it.
2. How we use your information
We use personal data to:
- Provide, operate and secure the platform and your store.
- Process orders, commissions and payouts.
- Communicate with you about your account, including verification and service notices.
- Detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- Improve our products and comply with legal obligations.
3. Sharing & disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers (payment processors, hosting, email and analytics) that help us run the platform, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms.
- Authorities where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Bloovera, our merchants or the public.
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition or asset sale.
4. Merchant–customer data
When a shopper buys from a store on Bloovera, the merchant is the controller of that customer’s data and Bloovera processes it on the merchant’s behalf. Merchants are responsible for their own privacy practices toward their customers.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences and understand usage. See our Cookie Policy for details and choices.
6. Data security & retention
We use technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, isolated payment handling) to protect data. No system is perfectly secure. We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at the address below.
8. International transfers
Bloovera operates across regions including Nigeria and the UK. Where data is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data-protection law.
9. Children
Bloovera is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
10. Changes & contact
We may update this policy from time to time and will note the “last updated” date above. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@bloovera.com.
