And this is with the objective of engendering a better legal regime for business contracts in particular and economic transactions in general. The paper has therefore appraised the Sale of Goods Act especially as it relates to the rights of parties to a contract of sales; examined various court decisions on the subject; and highlighted weaknesses in the law that require remedial action.
