The burden of raising disciples when they are young is very pivotal in my heart because God saved me and captivated my heart when I was young. I, therefore, felt compelled to write some of my experiences for their benefit. I have not done this to brag or boast or prove a point. It is to encourage, envision and challenge them since I had these experiences largely when I was at their age. I want to share with them how I responded to the difficulties I encountered, some of which confront them today.
It is my prayer that it will be of help to you on your journey. I have been through some of what you face as a young person and God helped me. If you do not consider yourself to be a young person but still hope to live a while and set yourself for eternity, I believe you will find something in this work that may be relevant for what remains of your journey in life.
