Akhil Mittal got his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Indian Institute of Technology Hisar Haryana and Ph.D. from same institute.Followinggraduationhe served 3 years as a Professor in Agricultural Biotechnologydepartmentat Indian Institute of Technology Karnal. After a year he was hired as an assistantprofessorof Agricultural Biotechnologyat Sonipat. He has worked with several national and internationalorganizationsin India and abroad. He has authored several research papers articles,publishedin reputed journals besides many scholarly books in his area of his specialization.
