ABOUT THE AUTHOR
JOSEPH O. BASORUN, an academic and a seasoned planner holds Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Urban and Regional Planning from the Federal University of Technology, Akure. He belongs to many professional bodies and has many outstanding awards to his credit. He is a member, Nigerian Institute of Town Planners and a registered Town Planner with the Town Planners Registration Council of Nigeria, member, Nigerian Institute of Management; member, International Society of Development and Sustainablity, Japan; fellow, Strategic Institute of Natural Resources and Human Development; and fellow, Institute of Policy Management Development. Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Federal University of Technology, Akure. He has published many scholarly articles in national and international journals.
