Grammar can be described as the study of the internal structure of words, Phrases, clauses and sentences in their oral and written forms and how they are used to convey meanings in language or in a language. Language is structural. Consequently, it has units and these units are in hierarchy. The hierarchy of units in the English Language grammar is conventionally identified as follows:

- Morpheme
- Word
- Phrase
- Clause
- Sentence
- Text
Speech has to do with language sounds that are associated with meaning.Its production process begins from thw lung where the air flows from. if the air stream is obstructed by any of the speech organs at any point during speech production, consonant sounds are produced, but if not, vowel sounds are produced.
